I teach in Puebla, Mexico. I've lived here six years and I teach Kundalini Yoga classes for children, seniors and people in general. Currently the Guru Ram Das center of Puebla, has a page on Facebook and I'm the director. On this site we publish recipes, tips, and information. News of Guru Ram Das center and its teachers on www.kundaliniyogapuebla.com In Puebla, the community seeks to support each other. We do Langar 3 times a year, distributing food to those who have no resources.And do SGGS continuous readings 3 times a year. The center offers level 1 and level 2, with the support of my teacher Ravi Kaur Khalsa. This year I am supporting the "21 Stages of Meditation" in Mexico. I coordinate and support Level 1 in Oaxaca for three teacher trainers: Pritam Pal, Tarn Taran Kaur and Ravi Kaur. I like my job and I like to serve.

Born in México City and partially raised in the United States, I first came in contact with yoga at the age of 12. After High School I lived between Europe and the United States while going to college, majoring in Sociology and Art History. Professionally, I had the fortune of working in México, Europe and the US, focusing on Arts Education. I came into Kundalini Yoga in 2010. My lead trainer was Gian Kaur Khalsa in Guadalajara. Since my first class, I fell in love with the practice which united both the physical and spiritual paths I was on. I have been practicing, teaching and studying ever since. I did my teacher training social service in an addiction recovery clinic and shortly afterward took the Beyond Addiction course. Since then I have worked in all types of addiction institutions, bringing the teachings and healing experience of Kundalini Yoga. Recently I opened a yoga school in Guadalajara, Casa Prem, where the main focus is also Kundalini and have begun collaborations with teachers from different parts of the world, who have come and taught workshops and opened up new horizons for teachers and students in the city.

Jap Singh Khalsa is a Kundalini yogi, L1 & L2 Lead trainer and Posture specialist, Dancer and Ragi. He shares his devotional music in festivals, kirtans and naad yoga sessions in Mexico, the USA and internationally and has recorded several CD's with his musical versions of KY mantras, most recently with Manshant Kaur of Australia who has been his singing partner since 2011. Jap developed the technique of Asanadance, which combines dance and asanas in rhythmic and dynamic sequences to open the inner energy for deep meditation. He teaches this technique in workshops throughout Mexico, at Sat Nam Fest, Summer Solstice, as well as at the European Yoga Festival and regular Encuentros Nacionales de Yoga in Mexico. Currently teaching in Saltillo, Monterrey, Aguascalientes and Chihuahua, he participates in training programs for KY teachers with international trainers. He has a series of 8 Kundalini Yoga & Meditation DVD's in Spanish suitable for individual practice.

Currently in Saltillo, Mexico, Kalyan has been a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 1996. She shares Yogi Bhajan's teachings in many training programs in Mexico since 2004, yoga classes and workshops. She formed a small yogic community in Binghamton, NY which is very dear to her heart, as are all of her students and colleagues around the world. She is also a licensed Conscious Pregnancy Trainer and teaches both in Spanish and English. Upon getting her PhD in Art History in 2010, Kalyan is invested in joining the areas of Art History and Kundalini Yoga in a continuous space for exploration and growth expressed at www.waheguruyoga.com.mx. She hopes men and women will reach out and connect in their spirituality as loving, critical and balanced human beings. She teaches kundalini and pregnancy yoga at Avemed in Saltillo and chants kirtan with her husband musician and KY trainer Jap Singh Khalsa.
